Treasurer role description
Position Volunteer Board Member: Treasurer
Organisation IABC Victoria
Location Flexible remote working
As a Volunteer Board Member, you will work with fellow Board members to advance our purpose – contributing your expertise and insights to key decision-making processes.
As Treasurer, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations of our organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing and maintaining accurate financial records.
Developing and presenting financial reports to the Board.
Advising on budgeting and financial planning.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
Collaborating with Board members and stakeholders on financial matters.
Qualifications
A passion for advancing the field of communications and supporting fellow professionals.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, volunteer-driven environment.
Strong analytical and organisational skills, with attention to financial detail.
A willingness and aptitude to learn.
Experience in a role that involves financial responsibility or budget management is an advantage.
