Message from the President

Recently I have been thinking a lot about the value of humans and human connection. We are all familiar with the backdrop. Change is the new norm. Slow down to move fast. AI is the next industrial revolution.

Amidst all this change, we are also seeing how community is more important than ever. That was certainly echoed at this week’s Mumbrella360 conference, which I had the pleasure of moderating.

In an era of short attention spans, low trust and digital dopamine hits – we are all craving deeper human connection. Whether as consumers, colleagues or collaborators, connection and community are key to us humans feeling seen, valued and frankly alive.

At our recent May Board meeting, we locked in our plans to create more moments that matter for our community. Moments that give you the tools and insights to remain professionally adept and confident. Moments that create a professional haven for like minded folk. Moments that go beyond networking, but rather foster genuine connection.

That's why we host a Winter Mingle every year. To ensure all (yes members, friends and non-members) come together IRL to forge new connections and to reinvigorate existing ones.

So regardless of where you are at in your career, what is happening within your organisation, what the weather gods may choose to do - do something for your career and join us at this year’s Winter Mingle on 24 July.
