WEBINAR: Crucial Lessons from the TikTok Election

The 2025 Australian Federal Election has been dubbed by commentators as the TikTok Election. For the first time in the nation's history, Gen Z and Millennial voters outnumber Baby Boomers, New Media outlets were invited to the Federal Budget Lock-Up, while news consumption via TV and print continues to decline.

Join IABC Victoria online for a post-election Power Hour of engaging conversation covering the must-know insights for communications professionals from this historical campaign.

Shannon Walker, Managing Director at FTI Consulting and David Imber, Former President of IABC and regular ABC Spin Doctors commentator, will share their insights on:

  • What has this election taught us - what we got right and what surprised us.

  • The reality of government relations today.

  • What comms leaders need to take seriously now in their roles.

This will be an informal session where all attendees will be welcome to share their thoughts, questions and concerns with the group.

The Chatham House rule will be in place to allow for an open and rich discussion amongst the comms community.
