Nominations are now open for the 2023 IABC Victoria Board

We welcome your nominations for the 2023 IABC Victoria Board.

All aspiring Board members should download the nomination form here and ensure their application is received by 11.59pm on Monday 16 January 2023.

Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 13 February 2023 (exact time and location TBC) at which point the new Board is voted in.

The process for nominating for IABC Victoria Board positions is as follows:

All aspiring Board members should complete the nomination form here. In the essay you should indicate which position/s you are most interested in nominating for (no more than 500 words).

A nominations committee will meet at the close of nominations to finalise the Board slate which will allocate nominees to positions. That committee will consider the preference of the Board member but exists to ensure we have the best overall Board with people serving in positions that best support the chapter.

All positions on the Board are open though there are some Board members continuing from 2022.

  • President- 1 year term

  • Vice President (the Vice President nominates for President and essentially signs up for a 3-year term ending as Immediate Past President)

The remaining roles can be nominated for a 1 or 2 year term.

  • Treasurer

  • Secretary

  • Brand & Communication (open to at least 2 people to share this portfolio)

  • Events (open to at least 2 people to share this portfolio)

  • Partnerships (open to 2 people)

  • Membership (open to 2 people)

  • Professional Development

  • IABC Liaison – a newly created position whose focus will be on liaison with IABC global, our Asia Pacific Chapter and other Australian IABC Chapters  

  • General Member (at least one general board member positions will be available- early in the term of the Board portfolio/ areas of specialisation will be finalised)
