IABC Victoria provides a range of professional development

Monthly networking events
Our monthly networking events are usually held over lunch
or at evenings. Keynote speakers discuss current issues or case studies, and
provide members and guests with an opportunity to ask questions and network.

Monthly Be HeardTM forums
Our monthly discussion forum, held at the Athenaeum
Library, Melbourne.
Half-day and full-day workshops
Regular workshops are held with leading national or
international experts.
Conferences
IABC runs an annual international conference. Regular
national and regional conferences are also held. IABC Victoria also endorses
are range of professional conferences with organisers usually offering
generous discounts to members.

Our chapter is one of very few that has local resources
available to members for research and development. The Athenaeum Library
holds our collection of professional reports, manuals and research papers for
members to borrow. You can also use the library as a base to touch-down and
do some research. Find

International Business Communication Accreditation
IABC’s professional credential program recognises
communicators who have reached accepted standards of knowledge and
proficiency in their chosen field. Candidates meeting the requirements of the
program earn the designation Accredited Business Communicator (ABC). Find out

Gold Quill Awards
The IABC recognises excellence in communication through a
number of awards within the profession. Awards are not only a way to recognize
great communication practices, but also a way to showcase the best of what is
