Thanks for all of your support in 2008. We had 170 members through the doors of our events and 80 non members, and maintained a satisfaction rating of 7.5 and above throughout the year. We’re pretty chuffed, but as always, keen to hear your thoughts. Drop us line.

9 December: Let’s Party! IABC Victoria’s End of Year Celebration!

 

It’s time to wrap the year up, relax with your IABC network, share the highs and the lows and make some wickedly communicative plans for 2009.

 

IABC Victoria is continuing the focus on “I for International” for end of year celebrations! Last year it was Afghan cuisine, this year it’s South East Asia with Red Spice Road.

 

Think crab, kaffir lime and holy basil cakes, duck, shiso and cashew spring rolls, bean noodle, snow pea and shiso rice paper rolls….mmmmmm!

Her PhD is in management, and focuses on the employees’ response to change communication. She is the Director of Jennifer Frahm Collaborations, a change management and communication services consultancy, and lectures for Melbourne based universities.

We’re starting our Be There schedule for 2009 with a very exciting breakfast addressing Brand Communication.

 

Simon Talbot, Head of Corporate Affairs of Kraft Australia/NZ will tell us about “Re-energising old Brands”.  

 

Vegemite had it most successful year on record - hear how Kraft engaged social media to launch Australia's largest integrated marketing campaign in 2008. The campaign resulted in the not-so-surprising finding that Vegemite is the internet’s most loved brand! The question remains are you a streaker, a slapper or a nudist?

Su Reardon, Client Partnership Director, of ABT, shares their story on “Trusting a brand: Why an ‘inside out’ approach is critical to building a trusted brand. Why did 100 leaders from a major global financial institution decided to postpone their above the line campaign, to focus on engaging their staff with the organisational strategy first?
